Each province of China has its own dialect. And before, people from
different provinces did not understand each other. To solve this problem, the
nationwide language of Putonghua was created. When creating the national
language, the northern dialects, including the Harbin dialect, were taken as a
basis. This means that people in Harbin speak a dialect that is as close as
possible to Mandarin, which in turn creates an ideal environment for learning
Chinese in this city.
